Mithraels is a private sanctuary in Castle Hill offering a uniquely client-centric approach within its range of services from Yoga, Meditation and Counseling through to Holistic Therapies, Spiritual Guidance and Mentoring. Varietal complimentary modalities are combined to ensure the mind/body/spirit connection is incorporated in all processes for optimal health, well-being and emotional resilience.  

About

My experiences traversing life, the globe and many corporate worlds gradually evolved into a deep and profound exploration of my lifelong passion for Yoga and Meditation. Living in harmony with my belief systems then led to further journeys into Channeling, Energetic Healing, Holistic Therapies, Meditation, Mentoring and Psychic/Spiritual Guidance.

My life is now one I love to live every day as a fully qualified Hatha Yoga Teacher specializing in Restorative, Seniors, Trauma Sensitive and iRest Yoga Nidra in addition to many other healing and meditation modalities.

My WHY for doing this is my love of people and being in service to humanity!!! I am passionate about providing people with knowledge, tools and support to empower them to live authentic, inspired lives filled with abundance and harmony.

My vision is to assist individuals to connect with their essential nature in an embodied “sensory” way to ensure the positive benefits of their experiences flow to their families, friends, communities and beyond.

Yoga

Yoga is a century’s old practice where mind, body and spirit are unified through breath, movement and stillness recognizing any conscious attempt at modification in one area initiates comprehensive change in our entire system leading to increased mental, physical and spiritual well-being. At Mithraels, Yoga is personalised within small, private groups in a warm, safe and supportive environment. Tailored to suit individual requirements whilst focusing on sensory/felt experiences to strengthen the mind/body relationship and create healthy neural pathways.

Meditation

Meditation is an accessible and practical tool available to everybody so they may experience the principles of peace, detachment, mindfulness, wisdom and equanimity. Regular meditation practice helps us develop these qualities and thus, create harmony, satisfaction and happiness in our lives. Meditation at Mithraels is practised in a safe, sacred and supportive environment conducive to deep personal inner enquiry focusing on your sensory experience without adhering to any fixed views or guidelines. Meditations are in co-creation with clients as staying within your comfort level is paramount at all times.

Counseling

Counseling and Therapies at Mithraels combine Holistic, Somatic and Spiritual therapeutic practices including Energetic Healing, iRest Yoga Nidra, Talk Therapy and Trauma Sensitive Yoga techniques in safe, private, confidential sessions.

FAQ

Do I have to book into the class or can I just show up?

Classes are small and private so booking is essential. If you have any queries or questions please feel free to contact me before coming to a class.

Do I need to bring my own mat?

All equipment is supplied but you are welcome to bring your own mat.

What style of Yoga do you do?

Classic Hatha/Iyengar principles utilizing props for accessibility and Trauma sensitive principles to ensure your yoga experience is one of comfort and safety.

What should I expect in a class?

Classes are conducted barefoot and run for 90 minutes. Beginning with relaxation/breathing and followed by a series of postures before completing with relaxation/meditation.

Can I do Yoga if I am not flexible?

Definitely ☺ Yoga is for every-body and assists with flexibility, focus, mobility, strength and emotional resilience. All you need is a willingness to turn up without expectations and be kind to yourself.

What do I need to wear/bring?

Comfortable clothing you can easily move and lie down in as well as your own water bottle. A private change room and toilet is available for your use.

Can I attend if I am pregnant?

Yoga is usually OK in the first trimester if you already have a regular yoga practice. However, it is always recommended to check with your doctor and contact a specialist pre/post natal yoga teacher.

Meditation is the intentional practice of going inwards to access the truth of who we are without the external distractions so prevalent in our modern world. In this space of deep inner enquiry and observation we come to experience greater self-awareness and connect with the abiding awareness that is always present beneath daily superficial activities.

Meditation at Mithraels is practised in a safe, sacred and supportive environment conducive to deep personal inner enquiry focusing on your sensory experience without adhering to any fixed views or guidelines. Meditations are in co-creation with clients as staying within your comfort level is paramount at all times.

Meditation is available in a 1 to 1 private session or in a private group.

Meditation Groups are also run on Monday evenings for like-minded individuals wishing to come together for guided meditation and the opportunity to share experiences so they can flow more easily and joyfully through life.
